I was eventually offered a free upgrade to a different property with own kitchen

Summary of the issues: - Bathroom is filthy. Toilet doesn’t flush properly, mould in shower, heavy layer of dust and very dusty cobwebs despite claims of “deep clean” happening on 4th Dec - Kitchen smells bad, has mould and dirty fridges - Laundry facilities advertised but the laundry room looks like a building site and the machines are not free - Shelves in bedroom are broken and have been poorly fixed with tape - Bed’s leg has fallen into a hole in the floor so the bed is not level - Bedroom window does not stay open by itself - Other doors are loud and slam at all hours - WiFi doesn’t work - Nobody got back to me about the issues on first day of checkin

The bed was clean and comfy. The room was big enough for one person.

I was very disappointed by the cleanliness of the bathrooms. There were dirty tissues on the floor by the shower on the first floor. The shower rooms didn't feel clean and I was reluctant to use them. The guests were noisy and talked on their phones til the early hours of the morning. There were gaps in the floorboards in the room and it was noisy. The doors banged at night.

Location and price, but I ended up forking out for alternative accommodation.

Everything else was abysmal! The bathrooms were disgusting and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for months. I couldn’t stay, sourced alternative accommodation and moved out.
