It was a nice spot to stay at.

a bit far from Daylesford centre.

The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated and a 5 minute drive to the centre of Daylesford. It was in a quiet location.

Sound proofing not the best as you could clearly hear the footsteps of other guests above you and if they were on the verandah - the guest next to us decided to take a phone call about 11pm on the verandah and woke us, we had to ask him to keep the noise down. The lighting from the power button on the TV was very bright preventing the room from being totally dark therefore interrupting sleep as well. The lighting in the bathroom was quite dim making it hard to apply makeup plus there was not a lot of space to put cutlery, glassware etc when you had to wash up in the bathroom basin.

Very comfy bed and heaters and heated blankets were a lovely touch

The noise from other people staying, could hear them through the roof all night long

Lovely new clean renovated room .

Could hear foot and door movement in adjoining room . Shower ran hot and cold .

Could hear every footstep next door and upstairs.

The room was very pretty and very high quality, The location was also gorgeous and while I didn't stay long, the view with a coffee in the early morning was incredible and it looks like some hiking trails were nearby, It was also close enough to town that it had plenty of facilities, but in the perfect position away from people so you weren't disturbed.

The key collection was very confusing. The booking.com app shows one address but the email shows another so I had to do quite A bit of driving around in an attempt to find the place to pick up my key, before returning home, this was the only issue I really found

King side bed was comfortable with ample pillows.

Bathroom amplifies all sounds and leaves little to the imagination. Bathroom sliding door only has a handle on outside. Rooms have a reed diffuser that'll make your eyes water. Never walked into a motel room and felt the need to let it air out for a few hours after bagging the diffuser. Really sucked to have to have your door open when it's 5 degrees outside for a few hours because your room stinks. No staff on site, no toaster, poor water pressure in shower. One plate was still dirty on arrival. Overall, it's a bit of a well polished dud.
