9A Millbrae - Donnini Apartments

Location was great.

Property is “ tired” , in need of a refresh. Furniture seating was stained and uncomfortable. I accidentally dropped something on the floor in the bedroom and it rolled under the bed, when I went to retrieve it I was shocked at the dust and dirt under the bed! It clearly had not been cleaned in a VERY LONG time! All kitchen items, plates , cups , cutlery etc are housed in the living room , so when using the kitchen it’s a strange set up!

Clean, comfortable and good location to Ayr racecourse. The property had tea , coffee and some toiletries

Would have been good for cooking if there was some salt, pepper and oil just a few basics as had to purchase items to cook breakfast. Just a suggestion maybe not many people who stay cook meals

It was modern and and spacious in the living room and kitchen, bathrooms were lovely. Great location to the town center.

There was a lot of dust on the headboards in both bedrooms, the noise from the road was awful, the paint work in the living room needs touched up and the dining room chairs all need a good clean as all 4 were stained, the wooden blinds had a few shutters that were broken, cob webs on the light fittings in all rooms, no egg cups that i could see, the bed in the 2nd bedroom with the ensuite was very very high.

We did not actually stay here as it became unavailable, but were given an alternative house near the seafront. The house was large and immaculate. It even had a cinema room.

Parking in Ayr is silly. They have wide streets with plenty of parking bays but it's 100% residents or 3 hours mac, so it's always 75% empty. The car parks however are full. Could Donnini provide a parking permit?

Excellent location and very comfortable with high quality furnishings. Very comfortable beds and good showers.

I love the place it was really nice

We were actually upgraded to a house so did not stay in the apartments. House was just around the corner.

Ideally would have been a little closer to the town center however benefit was closer to the beach and quieter!
