Villa Uma Berawa

The size was good, every room sufficient for couples and have toilet. The staffs who served at the villa were also friendly and nice I guess only the management or the managers are scammer

The cleanliness of the pool is ): we could see dirty particles in the pool. Seems like it’s a common issue in Bali, but nevertheless we feedback to them and they said they got an engineer to come but the ‘engineer’ only used the net to scoop leaves and particles out. Some of us had rashes after we came home. One epic summary highlight was that we arranged in-villa dinner for one of our night. Were given a menu to choose and told abt per pax price and also cooking charges per pax. We agreed. Upon payment when they sent me the invoice they sneakily placed a red line with * to say that the dinner+cooking charges per pax were subjected to another 20% of handling charge or grocery charge something like tt. So when we checking out they approached us to collect another 50+sgd which we refused to pay and disputed. In the end they waived it away but it made the entire stay unnecessarily ended on a bad note. So beware of scamming tactics. If u need cooking services just go book elsewhere. And the food wasn’t even fantastic or lived up to the per pax costs of 50+ per pax but with the service and save you the hassle of heading out we paid for it, but guess they were greedy and still wanan knock another 20% more. Breakfast was included so their staffs will be at your villa to cook. It was 5/10 decent because some of the dishes were so sweet it seems like they like to spam sugar.

Location is good, and villa is nice. Staff was polite.

We were not informed about the fact that there is a large construction of a new building right next to the house with noise annoyance from early morning till late afternoon. Such construction noise should be clearly indicated in the description of a high end property. We came to Bali to relax and could not do so during daytime due to the noise. We would have chosen another property if we were informed prior to our booking.

The only issues was the noise from outside but other wise the property was lovely and close walking distance from the shops .
