Squirrel Cottage

Beautiful comfortable and couldn't ask for more, loved it.

Fantastic hot tub and outdoor seating area. Well equipped kitchen, bath and separate large shower

Bed mattress too soft as were pillows. Fan would be useful for hot weather

Cottage finished to high standard... very pretty ... Nice and clean

Not as private as similar cottage/cabins we've stayed in . Open gap beside jacuzzi for anyone from front to walk in... I didnt like that plus it created a super draft. From a privacy point of view I didnt feel 100% comfortable. Plus host would like to come and take water sample around 11.30pm....!!!!!!! Would be nice to have some extra lights around and above jacuzzi area ...very dark at night ...

Such a spacious cottage! Lovely size , great facilities , huge bathroom !

You see the photos online, however it's so much better in reality. The smells, the cosiness, the fine details. It's not all shiny and modern like every other place these days..., it's rustic and homely. You feel safe, cosy, happy, comfortable. The hot tub was a highlight, very clean and private.. we absolutely loved our stay.

2 things that disappointed me and neither of them can be helped by the owners... There are lots of bugs/wasps flying about... Nobodies fault. Limited food delivery. There's only pizza (3 or 4 places) or indian (1 place) that deliver to the cottages. We stayed for 2 nights. The 1st night we bought pizzas and made them there. The second night we fancied a takeaway but my other half doesn't like Indian and we'd had pizza the night before... Had we known the options were so limited we would have planned a little differently. Thankfully my other half had only had 1 drink and we could drive to the Chinese which is less than 5 mins away.
