"Great location, friendly staff"

Great location

As all rooms are off the main hallway and as it’s a small property, it can be quite noisy. Thankfully we are early risers so it didn’t bother us. The wait for breakfast was quite a while and others were served before us when we had been waiting longer which was frustrating (especially when we were in a hurry to meet someone).

This Hotel is very well located, just a few blocks from Santo Domingo. Walking distance from the main spots and attractions in downtown Oaxaca. Great restaurants close by. Our room was clean and comfortable. And staff were very friendly and helpful!

"3 nights stay amazing experience"

The hotel is at a really good location just about 5 mins walk from the main restaurants. It's in a calmer area. The rooms are very clean and have everything that you need! The roof is very nice for morning breakfast and staff are very helpful as well. They arranged a very nice tour to visit a Mezcal distillery and Monte Alban. We really enjoyed our stay will definitely come back.

"A very nice boutique hotel in Oaxaca"

We enjoyed our 5-night stay at Majagua. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable, nice shower amenities and the location was great. Staff was very friendly and professional, and we appreciated all of Brian's help during our stay. The only reason why we didn't give a 5 rating was for the little stuff. While the rooms are beautifully decorated, it seemed to be more style over function. Small reading lights on each side of the bed would make a world of difference, more closet space/hangers (closet is in the bathroom) and offering a bit more variety for the breakfast buffet would be appreciated. We did enjoy eggs to order, which were well done and the coffee was great!
