Santhosh Inn

Location was perfect. Bang on the main road. Rooms were neat and clean. Abundant car parking. Hot water was available 24x7. No restaurant but coffee / tea is provided on request.

The cleaning material used on the floor was sticking to the feet. Looking oily and we found it difficult to walk.

Bigger room

No water bottle in rooms, Premises is still under construction and construction material everywhere its not ready for guests Too costly for the experience, Bed had plastic covers intact and bedsheets are spread over plastic sheet, impossible to sleep

a new build with basic facilities. the rooms though are large and airy.

the bathroom was filthy. it was bug infested and I had to ask to get it cleaned. we were three but they gave us only two towels. when I asked for a third towel it had nasty stains. again only two blankets instead of three they also were musty and smelt. they said the price includes breakfast. but it was actually a takeaway as they don’t have a functional restaurant. I was just too tired to complain. just avoid this place.

Staff was very courteous

Leaking washbasins, high price compared to other hotels which is nearby to vailankanni church. This church is quite a distance from church...you need to have your own vehicl. For the distance pelrice could have been lower

The location is good, it is very close to the Holy place of Velankanni, within 3kms range and the bed and facilities are new.

The staff were not considerate enough to address our concerns about staying together- made a booking via booking.com and the website offered 3 rooms for 5 people while each room accommodates 3 people( 1 double bed and 1 single person bed is available by default in all the 3 rooms we were initially given) But the staff made a mistake of giving us AC rooms once we checked in, we left for worship and once we come back they stop us asking us to change rooms because they offered us AC rooms. They micro manage the facility. You go out, they turn off the AC from outside.. our intention was to have the room cool down while coming back and they shut the switches off! They did not even provide basic toiletries.. when asked initially they said they don't provide, when questioned they provided soaps and shampoo.
