Quaint Yorkshire Pub ideal for the Dales. Staff very welcoming Will use again

Friendly, helpful and cheerful manager and staff. Clean and comfortable room, if a little 'tired' in places (and the toilet seat was VERY loose!). Pub food but very good (excellent steak and ale pie!), and great breakfast. Good choice of real ales (but no single malts!). Bar and dining area were a bit cold but the bedroom was cozy. An enjoyable stay and, again, all the staff were great.

The Old Hall Inn is a lovely old building with tons of charming character. However is does appear to have been allowed to have been unloved with lots of niggles needing minor repairs. The room we stayed is was quite noisy as you could hear the boiler coming on and off during the night. Also the music playing in the kitchen was loud. Food was okay but expensive for what it was. However, the included breakfast was excellent. We staying in room 4 which i think must have been one of the worst in the hotel. The bed was comfortable but the room was small with no chair, quite dark and as mentioned was noisy. The shower, though small delivered a medium flow but of good and consistent temperature

This pub/restaurant has it all, ambiance, great service varied menu and a great location. It was perfect way to celebrate my wife's birthday on our way home from a holiday in Scotland. Had a drink in the sheltered beer garden and a great meal in the restaurant. Breakfast, which is included is cooked fresh to order. Only minor issue being the bathroom which was small and could do with modernising. Otherwise 5 stras

Friendly welcome, clean and well equipped room with tea and coffee etc. A beautiful little dog-friendly pub with a very good menu at sensible prices. This place was recommended to us to try and we weren't disappointed. What really stood out was the quality - and quantity - of the food, absolutely first class, and great service too. Then the breakfast next morning which was included, never had any better..! Will hope to definitely be back sometime, would recommend the Old Hall Inn to anyone.

We stayed here because of its proximity to Grassington and All Creatures Great and Small association! The staff at the Old Hall Inn were very efficient - especially Dan, who did it all - Bartender, Chef, all-around good guy! Parking was easy and available. Breakfast was superb! The room we had was easily accessible up one flight of stairs, clean and well-supplied. We were concerened that it might be noisy being right above the bar, but it was just fine! Downtown Grassington is an easy mile stroll away, and the area has many beautiful hikes along the rivers and hills of the Yorkshire Dales.

Everything one needed was provided however the Inn as an older property is I am sure still work in progress. We felt it was a great location and were impressed by helpful friendly staff. Good value!
