Convenient location and friendly staff

It's location makes it convenient for visiting Great Basin National Park. The cleanliness of the facilities could be improved.

Gas is expensive, fuel up prior to arrival if possible. We arrived early and they gave us a room. Very nice of them. Casino was a little smoky. Overall a nice stay.

Did not like the Tesla owner shining his lights in my window at 2:30am.

For the middle of nowhere this place is excellent! After reading reviews, I was a bit unsure but it worked out great! Room and bed was comfy, AC was weak but worked, great food, nice laundry facility. Yeah no tv and no free ice but yeah, this is the Nevada desert!

The restaurant onsite isn’t bad. The cleanliness of our room, however, left a lot to be desired. Rust and dirt around the bottom of the toilet. No shampoo/conditioner or other amenities such as tissues, lotions. No TV and the WiFi didn’t connect.

Title: Extremely Disappointing – Poor Service and Refund Nightmare When we arrived at the Border Inn, our room had clearly not been cleaned after the previous guest — dirty sheets, trash left behind, and an overall unsanitary state. We immediately informed the front desk and were told we would receive a refund. Unfortunately, that’s where the problems got worse. Despite never staying in the room, the hotel has insisted that we did, and the refund process has been an absolute nightmare. Communication has been poor, accountability nonexistent, and the lack of professionalism is deeply frustrating. I would strongly advise avoiding this property. If something goes wrong with your stay, don’t expect them to make it right.

The rooms do not have TV's, even though shown in pictures when reserving. The deadbolt did not work, told the clerk when checking out and her response was "gotcha." I would not book again.

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast a lot! Huge portions! Clean rooms. Exactly what we needed.
