MOI Ella by DBI

Hi , sorry to say that we are very disappointed about the MOI hotel in Ella. We had a very unpleasant stay there. We were supposed to stay there for 2 nights but we ended up staying only one night because we had already made an advance payment the guy at the reception said he cannot refund it. So we had no option . The condition of the rooms were very poor. The pictures in your website and and on social media were amazing. But in reality it was way way below our expectations. We had guests from abroad. I am the one who made the reservation for them . I was so ashamed. The breakfast was very bad. It doesn’t look like what you have advertised. The fish curry was horrible and even the pancakes and waffles. There were only few options and it’s not worth the money we paid . The sink there was very dirty. Couldn’t even look at it. When we asked for a finger bowl. The staff told us to go to the sink. 🙄 you take a 5 star rate from us but don’t deliver a five star service. We will not recommend this hotel to anyone and will never return.

Bel hôtel au cœur des montagnes

This is a hotel outside of Ella (25 minutes) a bit misleading as we discovered. The room is a 2 story so you have plenty of room but more than you really need unless you have a big family with you. The room is decorating simple and not updated. The view is great as you’re surrounded by so much foliage but if you plan to hike in Ella and enjoy their many restaurants and take the train from there, do yourself a favor and stay in the actual town, would’ve been much better.
