Pikinas Studios near ATH airport

The property is close to Markopoulo town (10mins walk) which is 10 min drive to Athens international airport. This is the main reason we stayed. The accommodation was clean and basic. However there was quite a bit of noise from the adjoining apartments (it was Friday evening) which meant that getting an early nights sleep before a very early flight was tricky. There may have been someone playing basketball and banding a ball against a wall for several hours in the evening. Also our taxi never arrived which was prebooked by the host Matina however she did apologise. Luckily we booked an Uber who had to put really put his foot down to get us to the airport on time.

This is a very cozy studio. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is more spacious than other places that I stayed.

We could only get to the place with taxi. At least this is the information that I got from the airport information counter. I would like to suggest that the host add information on getting to the studio using public transport from the airport which would be helpful to tourists.

Everything is neat and clean. The location is close to the airport. The host is helpful. She finds a taxi for our early flight. The home is cozy. Everything is available at home.

The air conditioner does not work properly. When we decrease temperature, the air conditioner stops working. At 26 degrees, the air conditioner cools the room to very cold.

The town is really cute. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. It was a perfect spot for a 1-2 night stay near the Athens airport. I had a 24 hour layover. The place was clean, easy, a 10 minute drive from the airport and only a 15 minute drive from the beach. I was surprised by how nice the town is and the room and bathroom were quite clean and comfortable. The room itself had a nice charm as well!

The location was convenient for my event and the room was clean, smelled good and everything was in good order. The owner was quite helpful and willing to assist at every step. Although the selection of this studio was niche for the event I had to attend the studio was a pleasant surprise. The bed was comfy, there was complimentary water in the fridge, the bathroom worked without a hitch and was well equipped. The place is close to a bakery and a grill house and there is a taxi station at the main bus station nearby. Highly recommend it for folks looking to stay close to the airport.

I realised that I could have stayed in Koropi and benefit from the presence of a metro station there connecting to the center. But that is not the fault of the lodging, but rather a lapse on my part.
