Budget Inn Giddings by Mukhi Hotels

Like, the clean rooms, amenities, affordability. Didn't like train noise, thin walls.

Staff was great but the train runs right by hotel and very often which makes it hard to stay asleep if you're a light sleeper

This is your basic budget motel. The room was cleanand comfortable. Had a minor plumbing problem that was quickly handled. Young man we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. There is a train that goes by quite a bit (overnight too) room was pretty soundproofed it wasn't that annoying. I would stay there again.

My reservation was for two nights and I was charged for one night prior to check in like normal then the clerk checked me in and charged me for the second night. Negative, I left to get a haircut and on my return I was locked out of the room and the clerk was demanding more money. I showed him I was charged for two nights on my checking account and was still demanding more money. So I told him to let me get my things I went to different hotel and reported the hotel to my bank and also to the travel agency

This property is definitely listed for budget for a quick overnight stay no problem there are train tracks next to the hotel and we had five or so trains go by blasting their horn the whole way other than that wasn’t too bad but yeah I know I did that earlier
