The Blue Door

The property was very quaint and well located . The bed was comfy, the heating was good and the shower was very hot ! It was close to the centre and many lovely restaurants. I’d recommend the Blue Door.

The TV was impossible to work . We had to log into our own Netflix account. For the price it would be better if the owner had the TV set up for easy use . Also the checkout of 10am is too early . But we did check in early which was good .

Great location with free parking on doorstep. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Excellent bathroom and kitchen.

A bigger cooker hob for more than one pan at a time would be good - as would warning strips on bedroom ceiling to help prevent banging heads. Also clearer instructions about recycling and rubbish and a safety mat in very slippery shower.

Sofa bed v uncomfortable

The TV was beyond my comprehension so i simply used my iPad.

The property is absolutely fantastic! Very clean, warm, comfortable, modern, great location. It has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great value for the money, so much better than the hotel. Parking is an issue in Bath so the fact you’ve got parking space right outside the door is convenient. It even has the milk, coffee and a selection of teas, which was a great bonus. It has such a homely feeling and the layout is carefully thought off. Very much my style. We will definitely come back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved everything!

The location was perfect for us. We were able to park our car immediately outside the apartment so there are no problems having to haul suitcases about. A short 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Bath. The facilities in the apartment were excellent.

Nothing to dislike.

Location is great - short walk to town centre. The sofa bed was made up for us so that our friend could stay and there is a sliding door for privacy between the living room and the kitchen/bathroom. Tea, coffee and milk were provided. Whole property was clean and inviting and so much bigger than I imagined it could be - there is even a little outdoor terrace. We stayed there during a big storm, but we barely noticed it from inside this cosy property.

Cooking facilities might be a bit limited if you are staying for more than a few days, but were perfect for our needs.

Idea location

The blue door team were very easy to communicate with and gave me all the instructions that i needed to find the property and how to access the key safe. You walk into a small vestibule with coat and bag hooks which was great. Then into a lounge area with a TV ( it doesn't have live TV you have to use the apps ). Then a shower and toilet room then down a short flight of steps to the kitchen - which was equipped with everything i needed for my short stay plus they had supplied me with Tea, coffee, milk and sugar - Bonus ! Opposite the shower room you go up a steep flight of stairs to the bedroom. The bed was super comfortable for me but i hit my head a couple of times on the sloped roof ( you would have thought i would have learnt the first time ! ) There was a fan if i needed it but i preferred to have the window open. Over all i thought the apartment was very well thought out and laid out and i would not have a problem recommending a stay at the Blue door . The fact that it has space for a car to park and is so close to walk in to town is just a huge bonus.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Even to sit on it has a bar in the middle.
