Dream Drift Motel

Are you looking for a beautiful, peaceful place while you’re visiting Yellowstone? If so, this is the place! Our room was very clean and cozy. We had the room with the full kitchen and it was completely furnished with dishes, glasses, (beer mugs in the freezer!) flatware, cooking utensils and bakeware. There’s also a dining table. The room is spacious and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is good-sized and offers a large dresser with two drawers that lock with a key. The water is nice & hot and the shower pressure is fine. This property is about 30 or so minutes away from West Yellowstone and if you’re not interested in staying in town with throngs of people, I can assure you the drive is absolutely worth it! The owners are spectacular with communication and as friendly and helpful as could be. We found them very attentive (not in that annoying hovering waiter kinda way) making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The property is very dog-friendly and has ample space for them to run free and play. There is also a small store on the premises that sells some fly fishing gear and has soft & hard drinks and snacks. Fifteen minutes away from the motel is the town of Ennis which we found delightful. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from including an old-fashioned soda fountain in a pharmacy. They have a surprisingly fantastic grocery store, ice cream stands, retail shops and a host of friendly people. We will stay here again.

Beautiful 😍

Location was in the plains with tons of land and mountains surrounding you. Very peaceful and scenic. Room was decorated nicely and had comfortable beds.

Very friendly and helpful owners. We were surprised and pleased to find an eating area with basic plastic plates, bowls, and cutlery. It's not a proper kitchenette because the water is only in the bathroom, but it almost felt like one. Room was spacious and seating provided outside on the balcony to enjoy the view was very nice.

The property is in a beautiful, quiet big valley surrounded by majestic peaks and wildlife. It is great! The staff is super friendly and we hope to be back!!!

That we couldn't stay longer.

We had issues finding a last-minute vacancy in Ennis, so we cold-called the Dream Drift located further south down Hwy 287. The owner was extremely pleasant and welcoming- said he had a vacancy, and we showed up after dinner about an hour later. The exterior doesn't look like much (yet)- but the owner said it's a work-in-progress, and I believe him, because the interior of our room was wonderful... super clean, with an excellent bathroom.... and the view was incredible (see the attached pic). Be sure to say hi to Wally the dog. He's super friendly. I highly recommend a stay here.

The room was exceptionally clean and the owner & staff were very friendly & accommodating. Great location with amazing views of the Madison River Valley. This location is a little less than an hour from West Yellowstone. We brought our own food & used the provided bbq. It was the perfect set-up & location for our needs.
