Phaedrus Living Amorosa 13 Beachside Villa

We loved the pool area and the location of the property.

We were without water and electricity for the whole of the first day. Only at 11pm was someone dispatched to deal with the problem. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also not entirely clean when we arrived and some sheets were stained.

Main part of the villa which contains two of the bedrooms is ok.

Two bedrooms, one ground floor (in a separate building to the side of the villa) and a second bedroom which is sort of self contained and in a semi basement are awful. They stink and are totally unacceptable. Communication with the managing agents is awful. They have not been at all helpful even though we have had the regional manager visit who has agreed that the rooms are uninhabitable and smell disgusting. We hired the villa for the immediate family for our son's wedding and it has been nothing but a nightmare from start to finish. How it can be claimed that this is a top rated villa I do not know. As for the rhetoric about our comfort and satisfaction being their top priority this is standard blurb with no substance behind it. No help just continual repetition of how there are four bedrooms. A fact not disputed. What was disputed was the fact that two could not be used because of the disgusting smell. Covering one disgusting smell with another with air fresheners and humidifiers is not an answer. Also when your regional manager says it is disgusting and uninhabitable and you still refuse to compensate a client then you have no idea what customer service is nor do you ever hope to have our business, or that of any family member, again. For anyone looking to hire this place look very carefully at how few feedbacks there are for several years. The cynic in me thinks that they are either not renting this villa out very much at all or feedback is being filtered. If you want to stay in the area stay at one of the local hotels like the Aphrodite. May not be five stars but the welcome is wonderful, the breakfast buffet amazing and the owners and staff on hand for any problems which are acted upon and sorted promptly.

Amazing House. Private and good location, very clean and had all kitchen appliances as well as cutlery, stoves and pans. Enjoyed all facilities inside and outside the house. Very spacious and the trees around villa provide extra privacy/shade. Cooling system of the house is state of the art...

The only downside of the villa is that there was not enough toilet paper supplied (only 1 per toilet) and Kitchen could use some extra Towels/Kitchen Roll as well.

The room next to the pool needs more air, the smell of the moisture should be treated

The house was in excellent condition, and it had everything you need in terms of facilities.

It definitely needs a couple more sunbeds at the pool since it had only four, and the house can accommodate up to eight people minimum.
