Trailhead by Weekender

We were in room 9. Dec/ Jan visit with extremely cold temps and lots of snow. The location is great, loved the ground level room with the view of woods behind. First night we were the only ones there! Lot stayed plowed and accessible.

Poor lighting in room, no overhead lighting in room at all. Touch lamp on desk below TV did not work, Edison bulbs in all wall fixtures that did not help at all. Add the ceiling painted black and you end up with needing a flashlight to see in suitcases while you're there, and it feeling like a dungeon. Bathroom lighting was great. The lack of a receptacle in the bathroom was a bit strange. If you need to charge a shaver or use the supplied hair dryer, you'll have to go get an extension cord or use one of the outlets on nightstand. The two non-English speaking housekeeping guys were very loud and seemingly never stopped talking. They were very distracting and irritated our 2 little dogs who would bark loudly every time they walked by. Parking is ridiculous, they will rent more rooms out on the weekend than during week and the snowmobiles were parked where vehicles should be, blocking guests out of parking spaces in 0⁰ weather. Other times there would be 7' between every car and lot would be full with only half the cars that could have fit. Facility should have parking rules and signage so it's not a free- for-all in the winter.

Clean and comfortable

Walls are very thin...on our stay the room to the right of room #2 ( where room 1 would be) was playing music so loud we couldn't and didn't sleep at all, when we knocked on door no answer and music shut off for a time, then turned back on again! We were not impressed.

Very clean and nice sized rooms

It is located very close to the wild center. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Mobile check in is very convenient. We were able to go straight to our rooms upon arrival. Cleaning staff was really friendly.

There wasn’t any staff on site but there is a phone to call for assistance. We had to call about a small problem and they responded right away.

It was visually pleasing outside. It was fairly clean. The beds were comfortable. It was a super easy check- in process

There was hair in the shower on the walls from previous people upon check-in. The sidewalk outside was very icey, and i actually fell. Someone else later mentioned that it was very icey and they almost fell. The beds had wheels, which did not lock, which made sitting in bed to watch TV a bit annoying.
