The Göreme Cave Lodge was a lovely place. The room was comfortable, the views were unbelievable, and when they told us “treat it like home,” the staff that bring this location to life did everything in their power to make it feel that way. When an issue came up, they solved it. When they didn’t have plant-based milk for morning coffee, they went out and bought some. Once a day, they delivered a plate of fruit to us (bananas the first time and kiwis the second). It had felt like they read our minds because we had wanted banana before they brought it over and we hadn’t told anybody about it. The first morning there, they surprised me with a cake for my birthday and every person working there was so kind and personable. The staff are smart, kind, thoughtful, and hard working to say the least. And the city center was less than a ten minute walk away. And the views were stunning. The rooftop seating area was only a minute walk away from our room and gave us unforgettable viewing of the hot air balloons passing by in the early morning. I didn’t even have to leave the room at some point, they passed in front of my door! Next time I pass through Göreme and Cappadocia, I’d love to stay here again. I know I’ll have everything I need for the best stay and best view in the city. Something clean, quiet, and feeling like home.

Everything about this place was amazing. Our room, the food, and location. Most of all though, the staff was exceptional!!!

The breakfast was served at 8:30. It would have been nice to have had breakfast served maybe at 7:30 am.

The hotel is just a few minutes away from the town center, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of variety. We had an early departure on our last morning, and the staff thoughtfully prepared sandwiches for us to take with us. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, even delivering complimentary fruit and snacks. We stayed in an original cave room, which was very comfortable for two people. The only minor downside was that the shower doesn’t fully close, so the bathroom floor can get wet easily. The terrace is beautiful, though it faces away from most of the hot air balloons in the morning. We booked a balloon tour through the hotel and had a great experience, but note that booking directly with tour companies is cheaper. Overall, a wonderful stay with excellent hospitality and great service.

Breakfast was good, we liked the location, everything was conveniently located,easy to get to transport,plenty of restaurants around. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you

There was no safe in the room

The location is great just a few minutes walk into the centre of town and the balloons fly right over the hotel. We received a free room upgrade to a cave room which was huge. The hotel is very relaxed and when by the pool the staff give you towels and bring you drinks. The staff also brought us fruit and nuts each day. The breakfast is vast and tasty and changes daily. They also offer to make you omelettes and eggs and other turkish condiments. The hotel gave us a phone alert to wake us for the balloon ride.

The rooms were beautiful. We had our room upgraded to a cave room which was huge. The staff were amazing and everyday brought us fruit and nuts and brought us drinks whilst we relaxed by the pool. The breakfast was amazing with such a variety which changed each day. They also cooked you eggs and omelettes and asked you if you wanted to try anything different and very Turkish. It was only a few minutes walk and you were in the centre.

We stayed one night in Göreme Cave Lodge and it was absolutely amazing. The room was a perfect, the location was really central but still away from the hustle and bustle and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The staff, however, absolutely made this experience - they went above and beyond and couldn’t do enough for us including helping us book incredible tours and recommending sightseeing. Would 100% recommend.
