Carpet fraying, trip hazard. No shower gel or hairdryer - basics Adjoining pub stopped serving food at 6pm on a Friday evening on a bank holiday weekend 🤷♀️, very strange decision, although found a lovely one on the common. Very noisy at 1am in the pub car park , but realise that can’t be controlled by the pub, unless it was a lock in!
GBBig loft area with sofa tv and bed. Ben was nice and comfy.
Carpet wasn’t down by the kitchen making it a huge trip hazard. Bathroom smelt damp. Three windows on the property didn’t close so had to leave open meaning the noise was louder than if the windows was closed. Had to wash all the glasses in the cupboard as was dirty. Door didn’t really lock.
GBGreat size! Loved the choice of lights giving a lovely ambience. Super helpful and welcoming staff. All necessary amenities thought of: good hair dryer, kitchen ware, furnishing, etc. Nice towels and bedding, comfy bed, practical kitchenette area, very useful coffee table, big enough for all my mess :)
Nothing to really dislike, it's just small details: frayed carpet being a potential trip hazard, burnt iron which I didn't need to use anyway, since I travel with a steamer.
GBGreat size. I kept forgetting it's a loft and kept bashing my head on the slanted parts of the ceiling 😅 All necessities thought of - good hair dryer, ironing equipment, microwave, kitchen ware; bathroom and towels were really nice. I loved the choice of lighting in the room, providing a lovely ambience! Bed the bedding really nice and comfy. The place is opposite (and a part of?) a popular pub. I'd recommend ear plugs at weekends, if you're in rather than out. If you need anything (like a plug in my case), pub staff are happy to help in an instant!
Not much not to like! Carpet frayed in an inconvenient place where it could potentially be a tripping hazard? Oh, the iron might need to be looked at, I didn't wanna risk in on white clothes. Front door lock a bit tricky, but worked it out quick enough!
GBGBIt was a roomy loft. Shower was lovely.
It was tired. Broken blinds. Toilet holder.. Dirty windows. Ripped carpet trip hazard. Bedroom window by bottle bin and metal storage container being used all hours including late at night. Rowdy noise from beer garden and car park. No complimentary tea or coffee provided. No tea towel. As if wasn't really expecting a paying guest.

There needs to be more cutlery, a variety of tea and coffee sachets and personal care products limited. Carpet frayed between the kitchen/ lounge and a trip hazard. The handle on a cupboard in the eaves was off and the front door was hard to lock.
GBLocation was fabulous even though it was far from where the congress was holding. Room was big enough.clean and well maintained
There is this smell that kept us uncomfortable most of the time. Like a sewage tank kind of smell. I hope the owner does something about it.
