"Beautiful view — minor facelift required!"

Beautiful view and great location. Very close to the Waterfront

The photos is a bit misleading. The place needs a paint job, and some other maintenance is needed. The bath did not have any handles, which was strange. With a few upgrades, this can be a gem

Location was good.

This apartment was advertised incorrectly. Lots of photos of nice apartments, mixed in with a few of this apartment. If you try to book in this apartment block, make 100% sure you double check everything before you click yes. It is old and really outdated, full of junk on top of kitchen area. Mattress on the floor no base. Peeling paint on some of the walls, furniture very old and unkept.

Never got the keys according the instructions. Had to find alternative accommodations at a much higher price. Left stranded on the street. No one answered the call or replayed to the WhatsApp

"Bad service"

Location

Reported leaking bathroom basin pipe on first day. They promised to send maintenance to come fix it . Never fixed. Whatever was coming out of there was smelly.

"bad stay"

The Vredenhof apartment on 113 Beach Road was the worst stay I’ve had in a long time. Every time I spoke to someone about the management, it was a different person. The place was dirty, with no pillow case on the pillow The housekeeping only knocked once and then just entered without waiting. I mean, shouldn’t they knock a few times? wat if i was in the bathroom, and she just walked in. they was busy building downstairs the noise was bad the last day of the stay at 10oclock at night someone was building making noise I mind seriously 😐

The Location was perfect. Right on the Promenade. Lovely to be able to see the sea and walk across the road to take a nice long walk. The room and amenities were acceptable with a lovely view from the unit. The unit was spacious and comfortable with all the necessary items in the kitchen area. Very comfortable. Quirky.

Nothing I can think of at the moment. I think a mat on the deck area would have been a nice touch. Otherwise it was an nice quirky unit to stay in. Good location.
