Location and concierge staff

Water was not hot for the bath even after runningit for ages

Everything was perfect for us; location, bedroom, facilities, restaurants and food and very friendly staff. We were so sad to leave.

Hotel Cannero is a fantastic traditional family run hotel. The environment, food and service are of a very high standard. We went principally for a walking and restful break and for this the location is excellent. Walking routes available from the hotel and short ferry ride - note walking on this side of the lake can be challenging with steep inclines so its not for everyone. Some really good local restaurants close by if you dont choose to eat in the hotel.

Getting to the hotel via public transport is not the easiest of journeys to plan - perhaps better in high season when services become more frequent? Taxi from Malpensa Airport cost approx 160Eu
