The Vicarage Geraldine

In the center of the lovely village of Geraldine, we had the privilege of staying in the Vicarage: only 7 rooms. Most interesting history. Our room was a sheer pleasure: beautifully finished, great bed and bed linen, great bathroom. Nespresso machine

being woken up at 6.30 am by a sewage truck outside our window that ran for 30 minutes with sound like a 747 taking off. i know people have jobs to do but 6.30 is taking the p***

We absolutely loved The Vicarage & reading about the restoration of it. It’s right in the centre of Geraldine so not far to walk to anything. Everything has been designed with the guests in mind & we love the guest sitting rooms (one on each floor) & that there was a laundry available to the guests if needed. We felt especially at home as room 6 has been decorated very similar to our bedroom at home, even the bedding is similar. Sadly we only stayed one night but this accommodation has been better than any other we’ve stayed in whilst touring around the South Island. Would highly recommend, you won’t be sorry.
