Stables Ashbourne

Room, balcony and hot tub were all great and the staff even put some balloons and rose petals on the bed before our arrival for our anniversary. The hot tub was amazing and bed very cosy.

We had dinner and breakfast at the pub. The dinner was really nice but breakfast was disappointing and both of us given poached eggs which were still slightly uncooked. But it didn’t ruin the stay.

Room was spotless ,decor was lovely & staff were extremely helpful

We stayed for our ten year anniversary in October. Lovely private room, quiet area, pub next door does lovely food and at a good price! Hot tub was brilliant, stocked fridge, robes and slippers in the wardrobe. Going back for my 30th on January 17th. Very much looking forward to it!

Meals are good but large portions, unless you like really like big breakfast go for the small one lol

The staff were lovely, they went the extra mile! The room was gorgeous and well decorated. The hot tub was so relaxing and lovely being just outside on the balcony. Little extras in the room such as robes and slippers just add to the experience. Comfy bed and an excellent nights sleep! We would definitely come back!

WOW! We had one night in the junior suite. I booked this with my Tesco Club card vouchers. The first time I’ve used them for a hotel stay & what a place to stay for our first time!!! It was the perfect half way stop home after a busy long Halloween day in Alton Towers. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after hours of walking and waiting for rides. I cannot rate this place high enough. Everything from the decor to the room service, it is all so well thought & of high standard. Immaculate in cleanliness. The meal from the pub delivered to your door was the icing on the cake for us as we were far too exhausted to start getting ready to go out again. The quality of food was utterly beautiful & the steak was to a standard I’ve not had in some 5* restaurants. Credit to the chef it was exceptional!! Staff were so friendly & welcoming. The outside area around the hot tub was very private & beautiful. The bed was soooooo comfortable! My husband is 6ft 4inch we often find staying away we rarely find a bed that’s both comfortable & big enough…this was both! Such a wonderful stay, already recommended to family & friends. We will certainly be back! Thank you again
