Pictures of home indicated that the home had a private pool and that was the ONLY reason I rented this property. When I showed up at the property, the pool was a community pool. I called property management and they were rude and told me they couldn’t do anything for me and blamed Expedia. I told them it ruined my vacation and all they could say was sorry and kept blaming Expedia. Finally they agreed to reimburse me $165 and when I told them that they needed to make it right he upped it to $280 which still didn’t compensate for anything. Upon entering the home, I had to report a blind that was broken at the back door, all bath mats were dirty, a broken handle on the refrigerator, and a lot of stains and markings on the wall. On the third day, the owners showed up in the back yard accessing the shed. They mentioned the home next to us was theirs and they were staying there. He made conversation but did make a comment of not knowing too much Spanish after I answered him where we were from, like if we didn’t know English which was clearly the language we were speaking to him with…offensive. Then we get a knock on the door and now they want a pack and play that’s inside the house we were staying at because they had a niece over with a baby. Very awkward situation all together as soon as the owners showed up. The pool water was hot every time we got in but we had to settle since that’s all there was. Overall a bad experience, no one took accountability to make things right.
