Sands Grand Hotel

I stayed here for two days as part of my trip around the Maldives. The staff were incredible in every aspect and went above and beyond to do their best. Local information, tips, support and guidance could not have been better. The room was large and very spacious with a nice work station. There was an issue with the internet but it was resolved immediately which was great for me as a digital nomad connectivity is essential. The excursions were incredible organised and ran by the hotel and we got to see mantras and whale sharks. The trip to the sandbank is a MUST and I highly recommend taking the hotel shuttle for a few dollars unless you fancy the 1 hour walk in the sun. The food was great with very generous portions and I will happily stay here again should I return to Dhigurah

Hotel in a good position close enough to the bikini beach and perfect for visiting the island with its beautiful Sandbank. Fairly spacious room with a large bathroom furnished with good style. Bicycles available for rental and availability of the structure for organizing excursions. Wifi was not working in the room, noise from neighboring rooms and from the kitchen above, refrigerator that does not cool much, large but hard bed, fan in the room not working, intervention required to make it work, intervention not done, buffet at breakfast and dinner with very little choice, certainly not enough for a 4 star hotel.

Sants Grant!! What a TOP Hotel is that! With his beautiful garden and great food!!!!! Very nice BIG rooms!!! Good care, super clean and the staff is EXCELLENT!!! I love the girls in the kitchen. And the chef can cook like the best. The location is near the harbor. The island is beautiful. Dhigurah is a bounty island in the sun! The island and this hotel are highly recommended! I will definitely go back again! 🇲🇻 Back for q week and I miss everything allready!

We choose our dream island and dream accommodation.. saying dream because it was a dream. Since we arrived we were very warm welcome by manager of the hotel he is truly very kind and professional person giving us all the details about the hotel, area facilities itself and all the excursions that they provide. I love interior of the place very green a lot of plants we receive the room with doors opening to the backyard with full of flowers and greens it was such an breathtaking view I felt a bit like in Bali.. room was specious washroom decent generally we love the room it has everything what u need: hairdryer, tv in case u want watch Netflix comfy bed water delivered everyday really nice. We took all inclusive option so we had three meals in the hotel everyday something different and very tasty from scramble eggs through pancakes tuna steak and so on we were very satisfied.. the staff was very friendly and professional I felt like in home literally. The other day we were celebrating my birthday, thanks to management and the stuff that was really special day for me.. we took boat to deserted sand bank which was one of a kind of experience .. when we came back what a surprise the bed was decorated with flowers and happy birthday sign on it it was looking amazing and then at the dinner when I didn't expect anything more they brought a cake and they sing for me I couldn't believe it really special birthday for me I will always remember. Thank you. Hotel is in a walking distance from the beach, island itself it's a hidden gem paradise literally I would recommend to everyone. Thank you so much this trip will be always in my heart and I will be happy to be back whenever I have a chance!!

This is the best budget guesthouse I've visited in a whole our island's trip (given that I'm a demanding person for cleanliness and comfort in living). It felt like home there having a little garden with wooden art decoration. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Shahin the manager knows his job in a perfect way (many years working for resorts only). The food in a restaurant is very delicious, they can actually make a meal on your personal request. And the island Dhigurah by itself is still number 1 after visiting 6 islands in different Atolls.
