SETOUCHI KEIRIN HOTEL 10 by Onko Chishin

It’s was an original hotel. Bike themed as it looks over the velodrome- great watching the bikes go around. It was very clean and my son said the Onson was lovely. It’s a bit of a distance from the train or ferry but there is a shuttle bus or a taxi and they will refund your journey from the station. The breakfast was very extensive and free snacks and drinks during the day. Throughly enjoyed my stay.

The bed and pillow was a little hard for me. But perfect for someone who likes a hard pillow

El hotel es muy original, esta dentro del velódromo y eso le da un aire especial, puedes ver las carreras y a los ciclistas entrenar. Además tiene vista al mar. Es una experiencia única y da muy buena atención. Esta cerca de la estación UNo (donde tomas el ferry para las islas) y te rentan bicis eléctricas, lo cual aconsejo mucho hacer.

Las pijamas que te dan son de tela sintética y es incómodo salir del Onsen (baño público tradicional de japón) con ellas. En otros hoteles de Japón te las dan de algodón y eso las hace mucho más cómodas. El Onsen lo van cambiando todos lo días entre hombres y mujeres, hay uno más grande y otro más pequeño, pero me toco doble que fuera el de mujeres el más pequeño, lo cual me parece injusto, debería ser un día y un día. El desayuno es muy repetitivo y no hay fruta fresca, solo ponen fruta congelada y en almibar.

Overall design features of the hotel, facilities ( sauna / cold bath and public hot bath), magnificent views from your bedroom and breakfast area. Good food and stunning location with a shuttle bus service to the station and ferry port.

We had a twin room - it was a little tight for space for travellers who had a few bags at the end of their trip! A small point really in what was an excellent stay.

View from the balcony to the race track is amazing. Staff is friendly. Good breakfast buffet.

Rooms are tiny though we even booked a larger one. No gym or spa.

The view was okay but the lights and noise from the bikes was bad.

Staff are incredibly rude. Took us more than 1 hour to complete check in as there was an issue with our booking and the hotel wanted us to pay a substantial amount for our 8 month old baby. For which they did not provide any items for the baby such as extra towels etc. They also wanted us to pay additional fees as we arrived one hour prior to check in. The joke of it all was that it took the overstaffed reception desk and entire hour to decide to waive the cost of the baby that it was now the check in time but they had the courage to offer to waive the early check in fee too. To top it off, the room was so small that we had to pay additional fees to use the disabled/accessibility room as there was no where to open and store a suitcase. It's a 20 minute walk to town, there is a shuttle bus but you have to.book that. This is the japanese equivalent of faulty towers. Do yourself a favour and stay at a hotel in the Uno town centre.

Nous avons adoré l’originalité de l’hôtel. Le petit dej au top. Location de vélo et navette pour la gare sont parfait. Malheureusement pas eu le temps de profiter des bains. Bravo à toute l’équipe
