Cruz In Motel

The manager is rude and extremely unprofessional. He said that us having a service animal was fine then only to attempt to kick us out twice stating that the dog was a nuisance. Manager kicked in our door while we weren't there. Also manager called and yelled and cussed me out. My boyfriend spoke to him and he said we could continue to stay. That the dog wasn't an issue he confused us with someone else. Then today manager tells me that we need to move out today because he had work to do on our room. I asked if we could be loved to another room he said no. I told him we are paid up until Friday. If wants us out today then to give us part of our rent back. He refused. Also refused clean sheets and towels. Also there is no hot water.

I debated against this place reading the reviews but meet with the owners anyhow. So happy I did because it was nothing like the reviews from 2016 … they have really improved this property and it has a wonder home like vibe!

Do not stay here. Not kidding. The rooms are dirty and they smell horrible. The buildings are old and musty. Once we stayed...my husband forgot his wedding band on the bathroom sink. We literally pulled out of the parking lot as the lady went in to clean with her husband. When we turned around to come right back, they said there was nothing in there. They actually stole the ring. Horrible place. Don't even ask about the beds. They definitely do not wash their bedding. I swear on my children that everything I have written on here is true. Save your money.

I stayed in Room #2. As soon as I went into the room, I could smell rotton wood, mold and, mildew and, my eyes and nose began to burn. When I looked around I saw "black mold" everywhere. I stayed 3 nights because I had payed in advance on a credit card. When I got home I felt ill and began to cough up blood. Also there was dirty hand prints on all of the doors. The cover of the smoke alarm was falling off , termites crawling on the floor and more. I don't recommend this Motel to anyone. Charles

It wasn't AWFUL. The TV was small, but the fridge was pretty big. The shower was tiny. There was one of those huuuuge roaches climbing the wall our first night, and I saw a few of the smaller ones, as well. There were also mosquitoes hanging out in the bathroom. But it was, for the most part, pretty clean. The owner guy was a little rude, but at I have met worse hotel workers than him. The place will do in a pinch.

If you are looking for a clean & inexpensive room where there is hot water for a shower and everything (lights, A/C, refrigerator, microwave, TV & etc.) works, then the Neptune Motel is for you. Be sure to request the newer "Deluxe" rooms.
