Cabañas Rio Escondido

Loved the babbling brooke outside of the room. Couldn't beat the price. Enjoyed the stay so much I ended up adding an extra night.

Very quiet little cabin, near all the activities and a few steps from the trails to the river. Being off season some of the amenities were out of service but we enjoyed the gardens and trails and the covered areas during the rain.

The best is the receptionist, extremely helpful, polite and caring THANK YOU Only because her customer service we decided to extend our stay 2 more days ✨

I do like the location, price, and environment. Excellent, I do like it.

Beautiful view to the river from our balcony

This was a quick in and out for us, just stayed so we would have time in La Fortuna and at Arenal. The home was minimal but just what we needed. The grounds were actually quite lovely, would have explored more if we had stayed longer. Check in and out was easy.

Good: the property is beautiful! The river sounds are soothing. The buildings are nicely designed and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. It seems like it would be a lovely place to hold an event. Challenges: no hot water to the kitchen sink made us concerned for clean dishes. The wiring connections on the point of service heater on the shower head were a little alarming. Screens for the windows, a screen door for the back door would allow for enegy savings, when it is cool enough, while keeping the bugs and bats out. Also recommend keeping loft windows closed for that same reason. (The back porch bat were fun to watch outside but no one wants them in their room.) Doors need a bit Pland off the bottom to keep from scraping on the floors.

Der Gastgeber hat sich viel Zeit genommen für die Einweisung (zuviel). Als meine Frau eine Massage buchen wollte, kam seinerseits nichts mehr zurück. Vielleicht hatte er zuviel um die Ohren. Klimaanlage tropft und das Mobiliar ist alt. Trotzdem hat die Unterkunft viel Charme und ist sehr preiswert!

Our family of 5 enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The raging river so close to our balcony was impressive after a few days of heavy rain. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and we had plenty of space for 5. A couple of minor issues being advertised washer/dryer was actually a paid laundry service and pillow menu did not exist when requested although advertised.

Comfortable cabin with large bedroom ans kitchen. Air conditioning worked well. Nice front porch patio area. Reasonable price, stayed two days.
