Location is great. Clean & comfortable. Easy to get in.

Soy madrileña de toda la vida y una amiga inglesa vino a verme unos días. No me convencía ninguno de los hoteles/apartamentos de Madrid que vi hasta que encontré este. Habitación y baño impolutos, con una cocinita con todo lo necesario, tele con bluetooth y un servicio excepcional. La cama muy cómoda también. La zona me parece inmejorable y fueron muy atentos, si teníamos alguna duda la respondían y solucionaban al instante. Una pasada la verdad, de lo mejorcito que hay para alojarse en la ciudad!

It was a beautiful property, close to many restaurants with delicious food choices, coffee shops and tourist sites. Likewise the walk from the main train station was very short. The room came equipped with everything we needed, and the WiFi was strong.

All 3 rooms we booked ran out of hot water 2-5 minutes into the first of our showers, which means the 2nd persons to shower did not get any warm bath. This would not be an issue in the warmer months, however after hours of walking around in the cold we expected to relax with a warm shower. There was no warning to this shortage of hot water either, which was disappointing.

Poco ruidoso. Apartamento cómodo. El aire acondicionado funcionaba muy bien.

A veces, los textos eran sólo en inglés. Y por teléfono tampoco hablaban la mayoría español

Big comfortable bed and generous apartment with plenty of storage space for belongings & cases. Well equipped kitchen to be able to have meals, if preferred, especially breakfast before setting off for the day (although there is a very nice cafe/bakery below the property called Santagloria). Spacious bathroom with a good size shower and under sink storage for toiletries. Nice touches with available charging cables, shopping bag, refillable water bottles & yoga mat for your use while staying. Location is about a 30 minute leisurely walk into the city centre, about 15 mins walk from Atocha railway station and a 5 minute walk from Palos de la Frontera Metro station. Madrid is served by a very efficient & regular Metro service that can get you around the city with ease. The online check in/reception/ door access all went smoothly & questions via WhatApp messaging were promptly answered. On the ground floor there is a laundry room (drying rack, iron & ironing board available in our apartment) although we already had a washing machine, but no dishwasher, in our apartment. In the laundry room, you can also find stock of various items to replenish your supply (e.g. towels, toilet rolls, tea bags etc.). The housekeeping staff that we encountered were friendly. It was also very handy to be able to use the left luggage locker room on the day of our departure (we were lucky to get the last available locker so grab one as early as you can). We had lovely meals at three nearby restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment (El Roble, La Princesa Arab and Ay Guey Mexican) and there is a Mercadona supermarket above the indoor market across the road, so it’s easy to get whatever you need food & drink wise. The Bob W chain has a variety of locations across Europe and I will definitely use again.

The television didn’t have any English speaking channels… but we were able to connect onto YouTube on tv via iPad so that worked okay. Only occasional noise from the corridor from other people but it is an echoey building with high ceilings so you don’t expect silence all the time.
