Cardross Estate Glamping Pods

L’emplacement était incroyable, vue sur la campagne écossaise, très reposant et vraiment agréable. Moment de déconnexion total. Le pod est vraiment bien conçu, place optimisée, sobre et avec goût. Petit plus avec le bois à dispo pour un feu extérieur et des chamallows en bienvenue.

Check in a 16h, quand on sait qu’il fait nuit à 17h l’hiver, c’est vraiment dommage, du coup demande pour arriver à 13h mais supplément… vu le tarif de base vraiment dommage mais en effet de 13h à 17h ça fait vraiment la différence c’était top. Il manque un micro-ondes, des bains de soleil sur la terrasse, un sèche cheveux et un deuxième produit SDB (crème, produit cheveux,…) à ce prix là il faut avoir ce genre de détails. La table extérieure en rondins est sympa mais inutilisable s’il a plu. Au même titre qu’un petit dej ou un cocktail de bienvenue compris dans ce tarif là… c’était pas nickel niveau propreté mais c’était tout à fait correct. attention lit superposé uniquement pour 3/10 ans max. enfin à éviter une arrivée de nuit vu la localisation.

Für große Menschen nicht so gemütlich. Die Badezimmertür ging nur 3/4 zu, da sie sehr klemmte.

Awkward to get to from carpark, especially at night, not ideal with young family

Location was ideal. The pods are so well set up and despite the compact size, everything has been thought of. A superb, clamping adventure especially for families with younger kids. Ours are aged 4 and 7 and absolutely loved their bunkbed room! Fabulous views as well, and the fire pit provides an additional activity in the evening (toasting marshmallows). Really good location for restaurant options at the Port of Menteith too. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get off the beaten track (but not too far!)

Unfortunately, it rained a lot during our 2 night stay so we couldn't use the outdoor patio/fireside area as much as we would have ordinarily. Nothing that can be done about that though!

Fantástica experiencia. Es lo más cercano a acampar en el medio del bosque, pero con más comodidad que una tienda. Estás literalmente en el medio de un bosque. El pod por dentro es muy completo, está super limpio y tiene lo básico para desayunar y poco más. La posibilidad de hacer una hoguera fue genial, los niños lo disfrutaron un montón. Las instrucciones para llegar están muy bien, y muy atentos con todo.

Las camas de los niños eran un poco pequeñas, pero para una noche estuvo bien.

The pod was very quiet inside which I loved. No cars driving past either which was lovely to not be woken up by slamming doors or engines. The pod itself had everything I needed, including some unexpected extras which was fantastic. Bed was comfy and there were plenty pillows. Electric fan heater kept me warm when it got a bit nippy. I had a lovely stay.

Location was very dark, I had to go back to my car after the sun had set and it was pretty scary. There are lights along the path but they aren’t all that bright. I hadn’t brought a torch and the one in the pod wasn’t working. Not the end of the world, but just something to think about if you’re solo.

Fabulous pod, warm and comfortable.

A microwave would be a great addition as if it’s raining you only have a toaster and kettle.
