UBICACION CERCANA AL AEROPUERTO DE LA CDMX TERMINAL 1, (2 CUADRAS AMPLIAS) SIN EMBARGO ES UN BARRIO BASTANTE PELIGROSO COMO PARA TRANSITAR POR LO QUE TOMAMOS UN UBER, LO MALO ES QUE EN LA PROMOCION INDICA QUE TE LLEVAN AL AEROPUERTO DE FORMA GRATUITA Y UNO PIENSA QUE TIENEN UN VEHICULO PARA HACER ESTE SERVICIO, YO ME SENTI TRANQUILO PUESTO QUE MI VUELO SALIA DE LA TERMINAL 2 QUE SE ENCUENTRA MAS RETIRADA, SIN EMBARGO LO DEL TRASLADO GRATUITO ES UNA MENTIRA TOTAL, SIN EMBARGO TE DICEN QUE EL AEROPUERTO ESTA MUY CERCA POR LO QUE PUEDES CAMINAR, MI AVION VOLABA A LAS 8 AM, POR LO QUE TENIA QUE LLEGAR 2 HORAS ANTES PARA DOCUMENTAR, IMAGINENSE CAMINAR 2 CUADRAS POR ESE LUGAR CASI A OSCURAS A LAS 6 AM ENTRE MONTON DE CARROS ESTACIONADOS Y PUESTOS AMBULANTES CERRADOS, SEGURO NOS HUBIERAN ASALTADO EN EL MEJOR DE LOS CASOS.

LA HABITACION PESIMA, UNA CAMA MATRIMONIAL MEDIO TENDIDA, TOTALMENTE PEGADA A UNO DE LOS ANGULOS DE LA HABITACION, POR LO QUE SOLO PODIAS BAJAR POR EL LADO OPUESTO DE LA CAMA, APENAS POR UN PEQUEÑO PASILLO, EL CUARTO DE DORMIR MAS PEQUEÑO QUE HE VISTO EN MI VIDA Y EL FONDO DE LA OTRA ESQUINA UNA FOLKLORICA LLAVE VINTAGE DE AGUA CON TUBERIA CONECTADA, GOTEANDO SOBRE UN PEQUEÑO BOTE DE BASURA (HASTA HOY NO ME EXPLICO PARA QUE ESTARIA ESA LLAVE AHI CON EL BOTE) ME IMAGINO QUE CREYERON QUE ESO SUSTITUIRIA A UN LAVAMANOS, NI SIQUIERA HABIA ALGUNA MESA (SE SOBREENTIENDE QUE NO EXISTIA ESPACIO PARA ELLO) DONDE APOYAR LAS MALETAS PARA ABRIRLAS. DEPRIMENTE Y FEO LO DEFINIARIA SIMPLEMENTE.

I asked if I could have someone meet me at the airport to bring me to the hotel, as it is indicated on the site, and I was told ok but no one showed up. I waited 20 minutes, until someone sent me a message with directions to the hotel that made no sense.

This accommodation is on a side street very close to the international airport. This location is definitely its biggest positive. The neighbourhood it's in is working class, which we liked. There's a street market just around the corner where locals gathered in the evening. The young woman who checked us in was very friendly. Though her English was very limited, she got by with relying on Google translate as we did.

Though we didn't have any problem with the neighbourhood, the couple with whom we were traveling definitely did as it does seem to be sketchy as the high gates at the entrance are always closed, and the barbed wire all around the perimeter of the entrance didn't leave them with a positive impression of the place (in fact, they got back in the cab we arrived in and took off to another place). There were some issues with our room, so the manager actually set us up with another place about 20 kilometers away. We turned this down as we had a very early flight the next morning and it would have been extremely difficult to get back in time to check in. There was one room available, but it was a tiny box. In the end, we said forget it and went elsewhere despite the fact we knew we were going to be charged for a room we never used.

Place was nice and staff was friendly and seemed to know what they were doing.

Price was crazy for facilities. No covers.
