Motel Chelsea

The motel is eclectic but clean and well cared for. It is in a scenic area of the Gatineau Hills but a few km from restaurants or other amenities. We were there on a night when the on site restaurant was closed.

Das Motel liegt super um ohne weitere Transfers ein paar Wanderungen im Nationalpark machen zu können. Es ist wirklich sehr schön eingerichtet und vor allem die Mitarbeitenden waren super hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Das angeschlossene Restaurant/Kaffee hat leider nicht jeden Tag geöffnet. Reisende ohne eigenes Auto müssen sich darauf einstellen.

The staff were patient and helpful. The room was well stocked, the interior design was very cute and well thought out. The Motel itself felt safe. Parking was easy and the location was great if you planned on visiting either Wakefield or Old Chelsea. I definitely would recommend, don’t let the word “Motel” fool you, this property was better than some hotels I’ve stayed at, And all for such a reasonable price.

Loved the retro feel of the rooms, the music was a treat. Good location for getting around the area. Rooms were really quiet with comfy bed. The staff were super lovely ☺️

Coffee or Tea facilities in the room would have been good, but it was available free 24/7 from inside the motel.

Exceptional stay! Super comfortable beds, sheets and pillows, decoration and attention to details.

Would love Netflix or something similar instead of cable tv.

Exceptional and beautiful place! All the details are taken care of, the beds, sheets and towels are super comfortable. The bathroom is big and the shower and tub are amazing! The staff is responsive and friendly! Beautiful decoration and design, very cute and well thought out. Really cute cafe and restaurant on site from Thursday to Sunday. Close to both Chelsea and Wakefield. I will absolutely be staying here again!
