Great location and layout, lots of space for 4 people.

It was a bit grubby in some areas. The black cabinetry in the hallway has fingerprints and splatters all over it, there were long black hairs in one of the bedrooms and sticky marks on bedside tables. It needs a good deep clean so guests don’t see evidence of previous guests!

Hi Amanda, Thank you for letting us stay at the beautiful villa. It’s a lovely setting and a great place for a staycation. I do have to be honest that there were areas of our stay that were disappointing and resulted in us not having quite the experience we were expecting. Firstly, as per my message there were no pantry basic supplies. This is mentioned in the advertising with reference to making a homemade meal. However there was literally only sugar and teabags. We were shocked to find there wasn’t even salt and pepper. No coffee, milk, oil for cooking even. This means if anyone wants to cook and use the kitchen they need to go to the supermarket and buy the basics, rather than enjoying making a home cooked meal advertised in the listing. We then discovered that there were no paper towels. So nothing for spills etc…. The lighting in the kitchen is terrible at night. I tried to turn on the extractor light to combat this. However found this didn’t work. Nor did the fans either. I searched for the isolation switch to see if it was connected, but couldn’t find it. The kitchen isn’t really usable with the lack of basic pantry supplies, extractor not working, no paper towels and terrible lighting. When the sun came down we found that only 3 of the 10 lamps in the property were working. Two of the bedrooms had no working lamps at all. Leaving these guests in darkness when getting ready for bed, or having the glaring task ceiling light. The group under us were rather loud and were smoking outside. The smoke was coming up into our area of the villa through the kitchen door and it was awful. The property is gorgeous, but it lacks the basics for the kitchen area and so, for us, it’s not worth what we paid. We would get more basic pantry supplies at a hotel, and this villa is presented as a home away from home. Would also expect more for a booking.com listing. I understand it may not be nice to get this feedback.

Good location, beautiful house, nicely decorated. Furnishings were good and parking was easy.

Code key pad door was finnicky. By booking the whole house as opposed to the up or downstairs the app did not automatically provide a code. Bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned.
