Castle Cottage Winchcombe

EVERYTHING! The distance to the car park is perfect! Cottage was spotless… everything was so clean!! Perfect cottage with quaint features!! Decorated to a high standard. Comfy beds too. Winchcombe is perfectly situated to get to other places for a visit. Also, the village itself has enough to keep you entertained, Sudely Castle and the steam railway!!

The location, authentic character with modern facilities and easy to check-in.

We didn’t find the mattresses very comfortable.

Easy to get in. The downstairs bathroom is great. Tub is huge. The two rooms were nice. Great location and very responsive hosts who provide excellent recommendations.

The cottage is cute but not stunning. There is a smell that could be better dealt with by using more diffusers. Could have done with directions for the stove. The washer/dryer needed to be cleaned out. There was a lot of wet lint. The Internet keep going in and out. The couch is ancient. It’s really time to replace or reupholster it. It’s an old cottage so the floors are quite uneven in the kitchen. Made it a little challenging walking thru from living room.

The location of this cottage is very difficult to find.

Lovely period cottage. Unique place to stay. Close to amenities, and great place to come back to after a long day.

The pipes smelled when using the washing machine or opening the dishwasher. Might need checking.

Beautifully presented property, in a great location for the village. Modern fittings but also sympathetic to the historic nature of the house. Arrival photo's and descriptions of how to find the property were very helpful, and local carpark was a good price (£4 for 24hrs). Winchcombe is beautiful and we had a lovely stay.
