Price vs value upside down

Yes not happy about £10 surcharge on the steake dinner , which I was not informed about , , and breakfast was not gud to overcooked , but room very comfortable !!

The welcome on arrival was friendly, interested in my journey to them. Helped with error in booking, did it professionally and seamlessly with my online booking. Room was a good size, bed comfortable, tv, tea and coffee provided. It's a historical themed hotel, but tastefully done. Good dinner arrangements, breakfast too, in a separate room to dinner. Comfortable lounge area, new outdoor seating area to the front, and pretty flower baskets made it inviting. Lots of historical information about Lord Lovat's lineage. Chef had some excellent choices, the seared salmon was so good. Emily and Ellie were really good at their jobs

Decor throughout a little tired, but still in good order. In the room, the en-suite was of good quality, but the washbasin was too large and made manoeuvring awkward. Rear parking area was quite overgrown and a lot of glass broken in one area

Pulizia delle camere ,bagni obsoleti e dall'aspetto frusto.

Checked in and asked could we book dinner and was told yes, came down 10 mins later and was told a tour had arrived and we should go to another hotel

No hubo nada que nos gustara. Una experiencia desastrosa y lamentable. En la puntuación no he puesto un 0 porque no existe esa opción, ya que la puntuación empieza a contar desde 1. Nos cobraron por adelantado sin derecho a devolución una RESERVA ( por dos habitaciones, una doble y una triple, que, por lo que se ve, NUNCA EXISTIÓ. En lugar de disculparse, nos intentaron dar, para "ir abriendo boca", una habitación que estaba OCUPADA. La cama deshecha, ropa por el suelo, el baño ( incluida la bañera) recién utilizada con sus pelos y guarrerías. Suponemos que el usuario de esa habitación estaba escondido debajo de la cama... El gerente estaba ausente y hasta el día siguiente no llegó a explicarse. No nos devolvió el dinero.

No nos gustó nada. Nos sentimos estafados y engañados. Fue todo un completo desastre. Para colmo hacía una tarde maravillosa de sol, que nos perdimos intentando que nos buscaran una solución a nuestro alojamiento. Espero sinceramente, que les cierren el negocio.
