My husband and I stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort the first weekend in May for the second time. The resort itself is fantastic. The atmosphere is relaxing; with a beautiful pool/beach, great restaurant and a fun Tiki bar for afternoon snacks and drinks. The rooms are clean and comfortable. This year we had added excitement as it was 30 years of meeting each other. For a surprise to me, my husband planned a treat be put in our room to celebrate. Julie down at the front desk helped my husband and myself with getting this treat accomplished. She was a pleasure to work with. Could not do enough to help make this special. So, THANK YOU Julie!!!

We came for our honey moon and Joyce was really nice and helped us at the pool.

We stayed here for a cheer competition. I can't say enough good things! The rooms were great! We loved the layout. The complimentary breakfast was top notch! There were so many activities for adults and kids! Shout out Nyla! Very staff member seemed like they thoughly enjoyed their jobs. Shot out Joey at the front desk! If we come back next year, we'll def be staying here again.

Great location at the northern end of the boardwalk. Parking was next door at the Marriott hotel, easy enough. I did the self-park option @ $25/day. Breakfast included, buffet but there are servers and they do give you a check where breakfast for 2 is credited but you sign for it and are encouraged to tip on the original amount ($20/pp). Great options at breakfast including omelets and eggs to order and a nice selection of breads, pastries along with bacon and 2 kinds of sausage. The room (2-room suite) had a nice size balcony overlooking the ocean with 2 chairs and a table and was roomy. Nice big bathroom with walk in shower worked well. The hotel has a wide open feel and very inviting spaces downstairs. There's both an indoor and outdoor pool, only used indoor because the weather was cool. Minor quibble, the WiFi kicks you off every day and you have to re-login which made it difficult to use the digital key for the elevator because when you weren't on the Wi-Fi it wouldn't work. Also, the lobby WiFi was a separate network from the one in the room which also kicked you off every day and made you re-login, again making the digital key unusable once a day because it wouldn't work unless you were on the WiFi, it would be great if that wireless system improved in a way that would make the Digital Key more functional because the Digital Key is really great when it is working, especially to use the elevator; it was just frustrating when you forgot to log in to WiFi when you walked into the hotel that it wouldn't work and that there was no way to log in to the WiFi network you needed to use the Digital Key until you got off the elevator, so most of the time I ended up just fumbling for the key card. Overall a great stay and location, the staff was all great and helpful; I would definitely stay here again.
