Barrio Downtown Mexico City Hostel

Excelente ubicacion y muy buena atencion por todos .

En el desayuno algo mas que chilaquiles y cortinas mas oscuras que pongan.

The staff were very helpful and the place was spotlessly clean, great facilities and great value for money

The value for money for a capsule dorm is still great, as is the location. Communal areas are clean.

I've stayed here 4 times since my first visit in January 2024. My first 2 trips in January and February 24 were fantastic but sadly standards have dropped a lot since then. In the bathroom there are broken shower gel holders and bottles on the floor, toilet doors that don't look. The place doesn't seem to have any vibe anymore. In the past there were morning yoga classes and welcome drinks to meet other travellers, now there is nothing. The chilled water dispensers have been removed for refilling bottles. There's no longer a towel included in your stay. The staff are also no longer very friendly. They are polite, but questions and requests such as storage luggage seem to be an inconvenience. I'm glad I got to experience this hostel when it was at it's best, but I won't be returning.
