Only Chinese options for breakfast (even the bread is very sweet), so not really a breakfast for a Northern European.

The location was excellent. The various amenities also felt modern. I found the laundry convenient, as did a number of other guests who I met while waiting for a load to complete. The atmosphere was friendly and helpful when I encountered any difficulties understanding the instructions.

The smoking room could have been better positioned to be further from the elevator so that waiting for the elevator after breakfast wouldn't require standing in a cloud of smoke. It could also be made more obvious where the stairs are since the elevator can take a while, and it is actually very convenient to take the stairs down to the lobby after breakfast.

Excellent location, good for family with kids. Area is very nice, tropical greenery and pleasant location. Hotel rooms nice, comfy beds. Japanese style toilets with remote control were an experience 😁 Would go back again, even now knowing Chengdu, wouldn’t change hotel.

Lack of English language skills; this is a Hilton hotel and I expect basic tasks for check-in/out to be able to be done without a translator. Humidity in the corridors, lobby and rooms fine. The openness of smoking by other patrons in communal areas. That stupid robot blocking the entrance to the lifts and generally being problematic when sharing the lifts with patrons.
