Glamping in Wiltshire the Green Knoll is a charm

Other guests were using our bathroom, as it wasn’t that clear which one to use.

Gorgeous, quiet, rural location surrounded by animals. The Pod itself was just enough room for two, and dog friendly which was great for us. There was milk left in the fridge for us which was a lovely touch. Tea, coffee and sugar, towels, washing up liquid and handsoap were provided. Options for cooking, were kettle, toaster, microwave and bbq but you couldn't have more than one utility plugged in at the same time, not a problem for us as the sun was out and we enjoyed the use of the bbq. The fridge was quite small, so don't pack too much food to bring. There's a Morrisons just 11 minutes away though. Each pod had their own private bathroom, set away from the pod which was great. Extra special shout out for the extremely comfortable patio furniture, and the bonus decking out the back of the pod so we could sit in the shade and watch the gorgeous donkeys and ponies over breakfast. We will definitely return!

The only negatives of this place were the total lack of contact details or response from the owners to anything sent via the app, no directions and the signs for the place were not even remotely visible from the road, resulting in us having to drive up and down a fast, busy country road several times. None of my messages were answered and the phone number given directed me to a call centre based in Edinburgh, but probably in reality it was overseas. Eventually I took a chance and pulled into a neighbouring farm for directions, after 10 minutes we managed to locate someone who could help - and very helpful he was too. Had it not been for him (thanks a million, Brian) we would have had to make the long drive home and declare the transaction not legitimate. I understand these are teething problems with the new provider and hopefully will be resolved quickly but I felt it important to mention in case anyone else is driving up and down that road currently trying to locate the place!!

Location was peaceful and relaxing and a perfect base for exploring.

The host was very friendly and it was such a peaceful location. We had everything we needed.

Liked that it was small only 3 huts very dog friendly and loved the private toilet and shower block !

Very quiet and relaxing.

Location was superb, in a field of tranquility. Small accommodation but everything worked well. Hot shower.
