La villa ha un fascino incredibile e ho veramente adorato la Balcony Suite con la sua libreria d'epoca e la vista sul giardino. La zona è bella e silenziosa, il proprietario cordiale, e ho apprezzato che ci fosse sempre il necessario per preparare tè e caffè. Mi sono sentita come a casa, e c'era persino un gatto amante delle coccole sempre intorno all'ingresso. È un luogo che ha molta personalità.

Questa è una casa privata, antica, non un hotel. Quindi capita che qualcosa non funzioni, e non essendoci reception occorre contattare un numero che però si può chiamare sempre in caso di bisogno. Personalmente avrei gradito più riscaldamento nella stanza, ma bisogna dire che c'è un armadio pieno di piumoni nel corridoio.

This hotel was a complete disappointment. The building is old, there’s a constant sewage smell, and the staff shows zero respect for guests. I booked a room with a balcony 1.5 months in advance and paid on time. I even double-checked to make sure the room had a balcony — this was essential for me. They confirmed that Room 3 with a balcony was reserved. When we arrived, I received a code for the key box. We opened the assigned room door and found other people’s belongings inside — the room was clearly occupied. A neighbor witnessed the whole situation. Without informing us, the hotel had changed our room at the last minute. We were placed in a cold, ground-floor room with no balcony, in a lower category than what we booked. When I contacted the administrator, I was told: “Talk to Booking, it’s not our problem.” The room was freezing. The old double window didn’t close properly — one section didn’t even have glass. I had to stuff the window with a blanket so my son and I wouldn’t freeze at night. We were forced to live like this for two nights. On the last evening, around 10 PM, the owner finally appeared and offered to move us. But since we were leaving early the next morning, it made no sense to pack and move everything so late. They promised to refund 1.5 nights as compensation. However, over two weeks have passed, and I haven’t received a single euro. Every time I followed up, the owner had some excuse (“busy at the bank”, “too busy”). It’s now clear they have no intention of returning the money. I’ve decided to leave the money to them — they clearly need it more than I do. But I want to warn everyone: this place is awful, and you should think twice before booking. 👉 I strongly advise everyone to avoid this hotel.

The host is nice and polite. Unfortunately the check in inspections were sent to me on the day check in, which I did not have time to read.
