The hosts were super friendly and collaborative! Free parking is quite useful and close to the house. The location is very good at walking distance from Gent center. The decoration of the place is lovely!

My only complaint is that the WC is outside the room and I wasn't expecting that.

Nice and fancy studio with unusually many small things that made a stay even more convenient (like whole variety of spices, cotton buds, or sanitary pads). Climbing a bed was not a problem and the bed itself was very comfy. Very nice host who welcomed us with a homemade tiramisu. Convenient location

Tom and Jurgen were exceptionally good hosts. The property is phenomenal, well-equipped, modern yet rustic, well-lit and ventilated, clean, worth every penny, and located in a prime neighbourhood. The city center was accessible from this property. The hosts explained every detail of how to use the amenities in the apartment. The highlight was the homemade spreads in the fridge — must try the chocolate spread. We would definitely stay in this property when we make another trip to Ghent. A highly recommended property. Oh, don't forget to meet Raoul, the cat. We have never seen a cat who is so eager to get his scritches.

This apartment is perfectly located between the Dampoort train station and the city centre, with stops for the important bus lines just around the corner. With over 20 years of experience in booking studios for short stays, I must say that this one has the best kitchen I've ever seen. Also, the most basic foodstuffs (oil, dressings, species, coffee) are made available by the hosts, so you don't spend a lot of money to buy things you cannot take with you when you leave. There is a fabulous fat black cat named Raul. I adore cats; unfortunately, Raul didn't like me at all.

First and before all, there is the bed that is placed on stilts two meters above floor level. I've been in many places where there is a kind of small mezzanine to sleep, but there is always a floor beside the bed. Here, you have to find the ladder to climb down. If you miss it, you break a leg. This is evidently very dangerous after a night of good Belgian beer tasting, but it also makes this studio unaccessible for people with reduced mobility. Second, there is a strange arrangement of the place. The shower is in the kitchen. The door to the studio is semi-transparent. Your private bath is across the entrance hall, so it's not as private as you may wish. The place is adorned with old posters, many of them really nice and interesting. However, I didn't like the early 20'th century poster of male anatomy, I think it's bad taste. The calendar with pictures of "handsome" catholic priests is even more doubtful in view of the recent revelations in Flanders to this respect. The host cares a lot about his visitors. After booking, he directly connects with you through Whatsapp and sends you regular updates. He regularly checks on your well-being during your stay. Many people will like this, but I felt I was permanently stalked upon.

The apartment is very lean so at first sight, it looks minimalistic but it’s actually very modern and well-equipped with really cool gadgets. My family had so much fun discovering them. The coffee machine looked intimidating at first but once it’s warmed up, select your desired cup size & coffee strength. I instinctively pressed a button with a cup icon and voila, it made my coffee. There’s designated icons on a pad to turn lights on or off. These icons are self-explanatory. So If you wanna enable the tv, then press the tv icon. Select the shower icon to control lights in the shower or the stairs icon to light up the stairs. You get the point. And if you’re wondering where the towels might be, just slide the bathroom door closed. I assure you, you’ll find them. The property is within walking distance to the city square’s Xmas market. If you’re coming by car like we did, it’s best to go to the property first to drop off your belongings, pick up the parking pass (they call it badge) then park your car. The parking is only a few minutes walk to the property. The kitchen has all you need to do your cooking. You just gotta find them. I say this with amusement because they are strategically placed and stored. We slept very well here. It’s super clean and it has a very relaxing vibe. The hosts are very good at what they do. Tom sent us all the info we needed prior to arrival and Jurgen, who handed us the keys, helped us carry our luggages and gave us the warmest welcome. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it. And if you’re a fan of Apple gadgets, well, you’ll know what I mean...

The friendly and welcoming hosts & house cat 👍🏼 the luxury of free parking. The delicious coffee and welcoming dessert and snacks from the host. The location although by the road was ‘quiet’ and walking distance to the old town square.

Did not like the wc it was separate to the shower. The bed was a climb, but it was very comfortable.
