CERIA HOTEL at Alun Alun Yogyakarta

very beautiful building- felt like a 1930's deco filmset. Easy walking distance to Kraton and Malioboro, and ok for Taman sari. Although not the cafes of the Prawirotaman district the hotel has an on site restaurant with cheap and tasty food. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. A quiet retreat with lovely planting.

Being a relatively small hotel, all the staff were attentive and had time to chat about your day. The whole building was spotlessly clean and our room had everything you could possibly need including a comfortable bed and great bathroom. Great coffee shop on site was a real bonus when coming back from a walk around town. Really good breakfast too, well cooked and well presented.

Super bien placé, avec un.patio fleuri très calme. Accueil très attentionné. Le petit-déjeuner pas mal du tout, dans le patio, avec une bande son de crooners, c'est vraiment bien pour se réveiller en douceur.

La fenêtre de la chambre est petite et donne sur un vis à vis immédiat.

I had an amazing stay at Ceria Hotel in Yogyakarta. The property has a beautiful 1970s-inspired décor that gives it a unique and charming character. My room was absolutely fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and easily one of the best I experienced during my entire trip to Indonesia. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Malioboro Street, where we enjoyed strolling every evening. Breakfast offered plenty of options to suit different tastes, and the staff went above and beyond with their outstanding service. We also arranged day trips through the hotel with Yulis, whose service was truly top-notch. Thanks to him, our visits to Borobudur and Prambanan temples were seamless and memorable. Overall, I highly recommend Ceria Hotel for anyone visiting Yogyakarta—it’s full of charm, comfort, and wonderful hospitality.
