"A very enjoyable stay."

Good location, nice cottage close to High Street and market square. Bed comfortable. Tea, coffee, tomato sauce and other useful food stuffs in the cupboard.

Badly fitted door and cold in the evenings. A fan heater or similar would be appreciated rather than advice to buy logs to burn in the log burner. The duvet was very warm for summer use and it was cold when thrown off. A washing up bowl would avoid the risk of breakages.

"Lovely cottage!"

We had a lovely stay in the cottage, it was perfect for a little weekend away in Devon. The property was clean and well looked after, a very pretty cottage. Access to the property was easy, and the communication was great. There is a long stay car park just along the road, which we used every day and was reasonable.

Like others have mentioned, the sofa was very uncomfortable. Appreciate it is an antique, but is not suitable for a holiday home, even just to sit on for an hour. Other than that, we loved our stay.

Excellent location, a stone's throw from the the main thoroughfare, yet quiet. Charming, cosy and comfortable - almost home from home!

A curtain inside the door would have kept out the January gales, and one more comfy chair would have been an asset. Also, we had not spotted that there was no TV!

"It was a lovely holiday house to escape to."

Having it full equipped complete with coffee plunger and washing machine with clothes horse was very handy. Also having the bedroom separately up in the loft made the place tidier and felt more like home away from home.

Could have had a saucepan so that we boil eggs for breakfast.
