Van der Valk Hotel Gorinchem-A15

This is what I call a business that truly understands its guests. Unfortunately, our meetings ran longer than expected, so we arrived at the hotel with very little time left to fully experience and enjoy everything the property has to offer. That was genuinely disappointing, as the place has a unique atmosphere and so much character. However, we will definitely be back — this time for a longer stay to fully appreciate and enjoy it. 100% sure. 😊

The hotel is really at high standards with a beautiful spacious room. The restaurants and bar are worth visiting and in case one goes for the breakfast it is really fantastic! Staff was very helpful and this is one of the hotels where everything works.

Ontbijt hebben we niet genomen. Daar ik een maagverkleining heb gehad. En hierdoor weinig kan eten. Dus het is voor mij dan niet in verhouding om ontbijt erbij te nemen . Wellicht een optie om dan een kinderontbijt aan te bieden. Want ontbijten is natuurlijk altijd gezellig, ook al eet je weinig. Je verlengt dan wel het gevoel van gezelligheid en ontspanning.

Er zat een gat in de bank, precies op het naadje ( kamer 1402) dat was wat jammer

Luxe en ruim, heerlijk bed

De deur van wc klapt dicht met lawaai. ‘s nachts vervelend. Het was schoon maar hier en daar stof

Bar food was very good. Shop in reception was very useful

Was 40 minutes walk from town and we couldn't get a taxi independently or through the hotel
