Super friendly staff, very nice courtyard and chill out places, extremely central location.

Kitchen was too small and not enough equipped for the number of guests the hostel has. Cooking was definitely a hussle and I gave up on it.

Volko is in the middle of Guatemala Antigua, you won't miss a thing from staying there. The staff is super friendly, respectful, and professional. The beds are quite big and comfortable!

My room was next to the bar which operates independently from the hostel and they were loud till 1am. My bed was in front of a window which didn't close fully and I had Street light coming straight to my face. The combination of noise and light made it really hard to sleep. Also there were 3 lockers for a room with 9 beds. And there were 3 toilets, 3 showers and 1 sink for the whole hostel. The showers were separated by walls but didn't have doors, just curtains.

They charged me 4$ more than what i was supposed to pay just because they exchange it their own way, therefore instead of paying 7$ accordingly to booking pricing, i’ve been charged 11$. For the same prize I could have had a better hostel, with bed sheets included, for example.
