Volko Party Hostel

Very close to the city center, superfriendly staff, nice dorms, lot of useful spaces, clean bathroom. It's been a perfect experience at the hostel, not the volcano hike

(Kitchen a bit small compared to the big spaces you got) Hostel was basically perfect and good rate can't be affected by the volcano hike agency because they aren't the same, though i have to mention we had just 1 unprepared guide, it was cheaper but u can definitely tell the difference when u see other groups, look around a bit before to choose.

No breakfast, nice location but the staff was not so able to give clear information and answer questions

Very nice staff and rooms. Good kitchen and toilets. Not really a party hostel just has loud music playing all the time, idk why it's called that.

Super loud music playing all the time, even though I know it's a party hostel like the name but there was never a party going on just really bad covers of pop songs from the 2010s playing all day from as early as 8:30am to one time it went on until 1 in the morning. It's not a bad hostel I just wish they didn't have to play the music so loud all the time, and when I asked the staff to turn it down he said he couldn't for some reason. Nothing to do with the staff though, I know it's their job, it's just really really annoying that's all.

price/internet/kitchen/location combo is best

They didn't show me anything in the hostel. Where anything was and then left me stranded in Guatemala city for an hour waiting for my bus

The bartender is a nice guy. The hostel has a common space in the centre so it can get quite social. The dorms are nice.

The receptionist is a fraud. I stayed there for three nights and he made me move thrice to different dorms. Why? Because they didn’t have bookings in the dorms so they shift me to a dorm with bookings. It’s understandable to save electricity but the receptionist guy lied to me saying I have to move because they are fully booked. I found out when I saw the dorm empty and locked up. Why lie? And MOVING IS INCONVENIENT! Also, there is no doors on the showers just curtains and no hot water. The music plays from 9 am to 12 am so be prepared
