Beautiful 1-bed House, Exmoor Nr Lynton & Lynmouth

What a hidden gem The Annex, Rose Cottage is. Perfectly situated if you want a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of life! Nancy & Paddy are very welcoming hosts on hand to offer local knowledge on the best pubs to visit, walks to take or supply any small thing you may have forgotten. The cottage is beautifully presented , warm and clean with a very comfortable sofa and bed. The kitchen is one of the best equipped I have experienced with everything that is required - a real home from home. We enjoyed walking from the cottage to Watersmeet and then continued on along the river to Lynmouth and Lynton. Arlington Court is close by as are the steam trains at Woody Bay Station. All wonderful places to visit. We were fortunate to have warm sunny days and enjoyed sitting out on the patio at the cottage enjoying the sounds of the river. We had a wonderful week and hope to return again in the future

We had an amazing overnight stay at the Annex. Nancy, the host, could not have been more welcoming, informative and helpful. The cottage was ideal for our particular needs - a rather last minute booking - and very clean and well equipped throughout. It was beautifully warm, and the property is set deep in a very beautiful part of lovely Exmoor. Would highly recommend this cosy cottage for a couple and reasonably priced as well.
