Hollywood Beach Walk Steps to the Ocean Miami

This was my worst booking I’ve had and I travel several times per month. First off, the check in process was a mess. There is no one on site. I requested early check in and was told I could instead leave my bags with housekeeping until check in. That was fine. We sat outside in the heat for 3 hours before receiving the code to enter. We didn’t see housekeeping the whole time. I left several emails to the company and was not getting a response. Their phone number said they were closed and no way to leave a message. We get into our room. It’s disgusting. The toilet had someone else’s bowels floating near the rim. There are hairs all over the room. The fire alarm was chirping every few minutes. I did receive an email from the renter requesting pictures and said someone would be out. No one came. Imagine sleeping with a chirping fire alarm and unclean bed. The next morning, the cleaners came. They did not speak English and made fun of us for trying to communicate. No help was given. At this point the toilet won’t flush, the drain in the sink backs up. I take a shower. Big mistake. Once the water drained, here came the cockroaches and centipede looking bugs. The complex responded offering earplugs for the smoke detector. The cleaner then just removed the smoke detector all together and left us in filth. We were offered 10% back for this horrible 2 night adventure. My daughter has bug bites and that cost more than the 10%

This was an absolute nightmare for a single mother with a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old at 11:00 at night. They sent the wrong number to get in. Totally stranded with two toddlers! No one would answer the phone or return emails. Literally scared for my life.

2 minutes walking distance to the beach, coffee maker, hot water heater and hot plate in the room, with pots, pans, cutlery and dishes. Parking right in front of the property.

The location was great, super close to the beach, the room was sufficient.
