Lea Spa Hotel

The staff was great, friendly, and very helpful when asking for support. The beds were super comfortable, AC was working great, and we had a great view (but you need to book a more expensive room with a sea view) The hotel staff helps you also with booking tours and activities. They also pick you up from the ferry when you arrive so you won't need to carry your luggage. The toilet was clean and looked really new. Perfect location, only 2 min walk from "Bikini beach" and main tourist activity and very close to the port. The restaurant option in the Hotel was also ok. Overall i would go back if I will be in Maafushi and i would recommend it to friends and family.

No fridge in the room, but talking to the staff I learned that they have ordered minifridge and they will arrive. So this point could be discarded in the future. Internet was a real pain point as was working on/off constantly - so this is not a work-friendly space but seems that the whole island is affected by bad connection so this could be not just the fault of the hotel itself. The doors and walls are extremely thin, so we could hear a lot of noise coming from other guests going up/down the staircase and in the corridors near our room. We would always wake up due to the noise (during breakfast time), but if you don't mind and you wake up early anyway this won't be a problem. Breakfast options were really simple and could improve. A simple trash bin could be added to the rooms as we didn't have any proper way to dispose of our trash if not use the mini toilet bin.

We stayed at the Lea spa hotel for one night. They were helpful from the booking stage itself. Answered our queries promptly. They arranged a hassle-free speedboat service for us from the airport to Maafushi and to the airport. They picked us up from the Maafushi boatyard and were very welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. They have a rooftop restaurant and the food was good. It is within walking distance of the water sports area and the beach. Overall it was a pleasant stay! I would like to inform a serious issue with this hotel. We lost money both two rooms that i book. Officer is under investing. Their staff came to my room without notice in advance, and told a lie that we asked them to check about TV. We didnt! Please remove this hotel out of your list and inform to other network. Dont let tourist has a bad experience like us! many thanks

What makes Lea spa great is its staff. Soon after meeting Mr. Musa at the jetty, you would know you are in good hands. The reception staff is very nice and friendly. One restaurant staff, Mr. Raju really stood out for us and we really loved his service and recommendations. The other restaurant staff was great too. From check in to check out, everything was well organized for us. We are glad to book the seaview room. The room is not only clean and spacious but the view is beautiful. Everything was same as picture of booking.com Breakfast was really good. They would mostly have the same item everyday with one or two items changed. The restaurant set up is very nice and ideal for watching the sunset. The restaurant food is priced reasonably, not the cheapest but definitely of good value when price and quantity is compared. Taste is good too. Maafushi is small and you cannot go wrong booking any place. Still, I think the location of lea spa is really great. It suited us well. Everything you need is 1 min away. The property also accepts card payment (except for transfer) although it says in booking.com that they only accept cash. It was a great advantage for us

Well, there are still few things that could be improved but really are no major concern. Firstly, there is only one trash can which is in the washroom and is very small. The WiFi can be improved too. It's a little weak. I cannot fault anything else. Everything else was perfect. And the next thing, I will say is not really a complaint. The amenities stated cable tv and we said we wanted to watch the fifa world cup. The staff was very quick to respond and fixed the cable tv in a day but unfortunately they took the package that did not have the world cup channel. But, they were so nice that they tried to find links for us to watch the world cup and also suggested us many places where we could watch for free on the big screen.

Rooms don’t have noise insulation so you can hear everything what happens on the hallway and if the cleaners play loud music. Ofcourse you can ask the staff to put the music down. Also, I am not sure if there are hotels which are built with noise insulation in Mafushi

All the staff were nice and helpful. Room was homy and clean.

The property is located very near to the beach and on the Main Street of Maafushi. The room is spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff especially Siash and Salli (she is from Bali) were very helpful and friendly. They provided very good service and makes us feel at home. It is always nice to go for the daily breakfast when they are there.

There is currently a construction going on just outside the hotel. And they work till very late at night. The dustbin provided in the toilet is too small. The rooftop area is a very nice place to sit and have drinks. The hotel should try to do more to make the restaurant more lively. It offers a very nice view of Maafushi.
