The most disappointing part of the stay was the breakfast staff, especially the bald staff member at the live counter. His behavior was extremely unprofessional and selective. He was attentive, polite, and quick to serve foreign guests, while repeatedly ignoring us. We asked for live waffles and waited a long time. After reminding him again, he casually said, “It will come,” but it never did. Meanwhile, other guests were being attended to immediately. The difference in treatment was very noticeable and honestly felt discriminatory. The other buffet staff were also inattentive and poorly trained. Basic hospitality and customer service were lacking throughout the breakfast experience. Instead of feeling welcomed as paying guests, we felt ignored and unimportant. To make matters worse, I complained about this issue during checkout to a front desk staff member who appeared to be a manager. Instead of properly listening to the complaint or trying to address the situation seriously, he simply brushed it aside with a quick apology. He seemed more concerned about rushing us through checkout than actually listening to our concerns and improving the guest experience. Management seriously needs to train the breakfast and front desk teams on professionalism, equal treatment of guests, and proper customer service.
