The Taikang Sanya, a Tribute Portfolio Resort

Hotel is clean and well maintained overall besides the areas under construction. Their restaurant, Sea Catch, was one of the best meals I've had on the trip. Free self-service laundry which I appreciated.

We arrived around ~10pm straight from the airport, the front desk receptionist could not speak English, or Cantonese, or Hainanese. It was very difficult to communicate, and as our first time in China, we had difficulties getting our payment apps to work, and none of the workers could help us, and they did not accept cash (CNY) or credit card. After a long time spent struggling, we finally paid and they led us to our room. We discovered that the room was used and not cleaned. We were told to wait until they finally found us a different room and led us there. This floor was under construction, with protective papers along the entire corridor. We were starving and exhausted at this point and they pointed us to their 24 hour online ordering menu system - however, every single food item was sold out. We had to call the front desk again, communicate with the language barrier, they sent someone up to our room after 15 minutes and said they refreshed the system, so now one item (spaghetti) was available. Throughout the week we stayed, their "24 hours" online dining menu was very limited and restricted overnight, typically offering one item while the rest was always sold out. The design of the room was inconvenient - 1) shower is enclosed separately and not designed well. No place to hang dry towel or clothes while in the shower room, no entry way to the shower room to get dressed without being exposed to the entire room 2) bathroom enclosed separately, has no ventilation, 3) the closet door is a sliding door that will block the bathroom sink or bathroom counter every time you need to access the closet. Our room keys malfunctioned for no reason and would not operate the elevator or room door. Had to go back to the front desk to have them re-activate it. Thermostat did not work at all, room consistently 25+ celsius even if we turned it down.

Нас встретил болеющий менеджер:чихал и кашлял в лицо. Нас заселили в номер с бассейном, но с выходом на стройку. Вся пыль и шум. Да, позже нас переселили. Но не прошло и дня, чтобы в номер не приходил техник чинить бассейн: насос, свет. Странная система ресторанов: с 14-30 до 17-00 у тебя нет возможности поесть на территории отеля. Сотрудники говорят «идите на улицу» Меню, которое предлагают как рум-сервис, не соответствует действительности. Мы заказывали и ни одно фото и рецепт не совпали. При этом, нам ни разу не объяснили, зачем вводят нас в заблуждение. И выражали крайнее недовольство, что мы не хотим есть то, что не заказывали. Хлопали дверью. В номере не было ежедневной уборки. И когда я уже не вытерпела и заказала. То клинер пришел на следующий день. Отель не на первой линии, как пишут. А через 4 полосы активного движения без пешеходного перехода! Пляж не оборудован. И стоит знак «купаться запрещено, потому что нет спасателя».

Состояние хорошее. Общий уровень отеля достаточно высокий.

Нет никакого общения, кроме китайского. Делать в районе нечего. Ничего не предлагают. Такое ощущение, что это не курортный отель, а для командировочных.

La stanza con la piscina privata è stupenda. Posto perfetto per bambini, ci sono diverse aree giochi e una bella piscina per bambini. Spettacolo di fuochi serale.

Apparentemente l'edificio sembra una clinica privata. Colazione non delle migliori, un po' tutto lasciato al caso. Personale troppo giovane e inesperto, accoglienza così così, nessun sorriso e nessuno che conosce una mezza parola di inglese, assurdo. Per non parlare dei clienti dell' hotel, maleducatissimi, non so se è normale in Cina non rispettare la fila, mentre sei alla reception c'è gente che ti passa letteralmente da sopra per chiedere cose e nessuno dice niente.

Просторный отель. В зоне видимости не больше 5 человек, да и в целом отдыхающие в массе встречаются только на завтраке. Отличный бассейн. Есть магазин на 1 этаже с фруктами, напитками, снэками. Детям раздолье в виде игровых (детей там можно оставлять) и бассейнов + в местном магазине мини отдел с игрушками. Еда приличная как и кофе (кофе по неприличной цене). Ежедневная уборка и смена полотенец, халатов. Есть банкомат на территории отеля, который принимает карты РСХБ, комиссия за снятие 200 рублей. Дальше безоценочные факты: Далеко от улиц с магазинами. Мало русских туристов. Персонал английский не знает, общение через переводчик на телефоне. Пляж не оборудован, кроме подиума 5×5 с качелью. Там иногда играют музыканты. По пляжу можно пройти несколько километров и не встретить людей.
